2 Neuroradiologists Sought for the Neuroradiology Department at Uppsala University Hospital

About you and the job

This neuroradiology department is a highly specialized unit and one of the largest neuroradiology clinics in Sweden, with approximately 34,000 diagnostic examinations annually.

We offer highly specialized diagnostics and a strong collegial community. It is a multicultural clinic that finds strength in its diversity. The work is conducted in the newly built BOIC, Imaging and Intervention Center, in comfortable facilities. Research is an integrated and natural part of the operations, and there are excellent opportunities to participate in research projects and admission to doctoral studies.

The operations are conducted in Sweden's second-largest city with over 600,000 inhabitants. The city is located on Sweden's southwestern coast, in the heart of Scandinavia.

The position involves working with MRI and CT diagnostics of acute and chronic conditions in both the central and peripheral nervous systems, as well as in the ear-nose-throat area. The work includes ambulatory activities and interdisciplinary conferences. Having experience with neck ultrasound is a plus but not a requirement. Teaching residents is part of the job responsibilities.
