About the Workplace and You as an Applicant
We are currently seeking 2-4 specialists in pathology. It is important that applicants have experience in independent reporting. Experience or interest in cytology, hematology, breast, gastrointestinal, or prostate treatment is advantageous.
Pathologists with an interest in cytology, hematology, breast, stomach, or prostate are of particular interest.
You need to have general pathological competence but will be an expert and focus primarily on two different areas; for example, prostate and gastro.
Job Responsibilities
The job responsibilities include, among other things:

Diagnostic work primarily within your specialty area, possible autopsies, and reporting

Participation in multidisciplinary conferences with clinical colleagues

Case reviews with colleagues, both on and off-site

Work with digital pathology in development

Quality improvement work in teams

Collaboration with biomedical analysts, administrative staff, and IT technicians
Terms and What We Offer
About the Position

Working hours: 08:00–16:45 (including a 45-minute lunch break)

Salary for newly qualified specialist doctor: approximately 75,000 SEK/month

With approximately 5 years of experience: approximately 85,000 SEK/month

Salary supplement: PhD +4,000 SEK, associate professor +7,000 SEK
