Oncology Specialist – Medical Oncology at regional hospital
Two positions
Would you like to work with medical oncology in an independent and well-organized unit? We are now seeking two specialists for our oncology services at a regional hospital in southern Sweden.
About the Position
With us, you will work broadly within medical oncology, focusing on breast cancer, melanoma, gastrointestinal cancer, and urological cancer. The department is divided into an outpatient clinic and a treatment unit, offering you a varied daily work life.
Your day may include outpatient consultations with approximately 3-4 patients per half-day (new visits, follow-up visits, or toxicity checks), chemotherapy prescriptions, and supervision of residents/junior doctors.
We collaborate with a neighboring region for radiation therapy, which allows you to focus on medical oncology.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Specialist competence in medical oncology or clinical oncology
- At least 5 years of experience in medical or clinical oncology
- Experience in one or more of our diagnostic areas (breast cancer, melanoma, gastrointestinal cancer, urological cancer)
