PATHOLOGIST – General Pathologist for a major Swedish hospital
ABOUT THE POSITION
Are you an experienced pathologist seeking a rewarding career in Sweden? Welcome to a modern pathology laboratory in the midst of an exciting digital transformation!
Work with tissue sample diagnostics, supervision of resident physicians, autopsies, and macroscopic examinations. You will become an integral part of our educational environment as a university healthcare unit affiliated with Linköping University.
- Approximately 50,000 cases per year – a broad and stimulating practice
- Digital transformation: new scanners, image management systems, and AI support
- Development within molecular pathology
- No on-call duties
- Close proximity to decision-making – your ideas are taken seriously
We are looking for someone who
- Are a specialist physician in clinical pathology/cytology
- Have several years of experience in pathology
- Hold a medical degree from the EU/EEA or have at least 3 years of experience from an EU country
- Have Swedish language skills at C1 level (we offer free language training!)
- Possess good IT proficiency
